July 31 at 6:08 AMI had a hard time keeping up with this challenge with all the vacation and traveling I did in July. I guess that's good to know and I can do some things to plan ahead better next summer.

July 30 at 4:25 AMOn my weekend travels, while I was advocating for not using single use plastic, with my reusable bags, I learned that Connecticut is going to charge 5 cents for each plastic bag starting soon (Aug. 1, 2019) in all the stores, state wide.

July 24 at 5:24 AMI bought organic apples yesterday and automatically reached for the plastic produce bag dispenser. Luckily, I caught myself just in time and remembered to use the cloth sack I had tucked-away in my canvas shopping bag. {:-)
