Who needs a $200 spa quality face and body scrub when you can mix your used coffee grounds from your morning coffee, add a few drops of sea salt and coconut oil to get a glow and a cellulite reducer????   Being Eco-Conscious and thrifty all in one cool move!

When your daughter uses coffee grounds from your morning coffee to make her own face scrub, you know the eco challenge is making a difference in your household.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Lifestyle Support a Sharing Economy
What are the benefits of a sharing economy? How could a sharing economy change the dynamics you have with friends, family and/or neighbors?

This challenge has made me more aware of ways I can help the world we live in. My 12 year old daughter and I share this challenge and try to outdo each other.  Paper straws are now in our home!  Recyclable grocery totes are now in our home and each vehicle. And this week, she suggested we take our own bags for vegetables to the store instead of using theirs. We got daddy involved too!  This is a family affair.

I love a little healthy competition! Especially when it has such a positive impact! I love the "coffee grounds scrub" your daughter used. Brilliant! :-)
