    After a teammate TRIED to use a reusable tumbler at Chik-Fil-A today and was told she couldn't and then was given two styrofoam cups: one with ice and one with tea so she could fill her own tumbler, I was moved to do something I've been meaning to do for a while: I wrote Chik-Fil-A and told them to ditch the styrofoam once and for all!

    I really enjoyed this challenge! It definitely made me more aware of our use of plastics, and unnecessary items! My family is better for this and hope to continue to keep items out of the landfill far past this Eco Challenge!!

    Who needs a $200 spa quality face and body scrub when you can mix your used coffee grounds from your morning coffee, add a few drops of sea salt and coconut oil to get a glow and a cellulite reducer????   Being Eco-Conscious and thrifty all in one cool move!

    Yes! I was encouraged by Belinda,who also travels, to use a reusable water bottle. She even gave me info on where she found her awesome fold up water bottle.     My husband and I realized that a lot of our plastic packaging accumulates from groceries!! This past weekend, we tried to be more mindful of choosing items in responsible packaging.
