    i love participating in the challenge.  I wish there was an app for us to use on our mobile devices.

    This was a terrific challenge. I’m excited to have more locally made, eco friendly products available.  Glorias in Fairhaven has metal straws for sale.

    I would have said yesterday there really wasn't a difference and it was just a convenience product because we as a society are lazier, but I slipped for the first time yesterday with my safety razor and peeled off a bunch of skin on my shin, so the appeal of disposable ones is creeping back in.

    I shared my participation in the challenge on Instagram, I like to post to my community about things happening in fashion, art and things I may try myself so it doesn't seem like the switches or things being done to help the environment are hard to do.

    I still drink too many things that come in cans (soda, energy drinks etc) those are the next to go

    This was probably easiest, I bought bags that roll up super small to fit in my purse.

    I really want to try the bees wax plastic wrap replacement.

    I have definitely found more restaurants having paper straws. There even was a bar while I was on vacation that used metal ones.

    This one was hard! It made my kiddo lunches huge! I need to find some more flexible options - like silicone bags - to cut down on space.
