REFLECTION QUESTIONLifestyleHow can/did you prepare to be successful in this action? Did you engage in conversation with anyone about your new habit?
Susan Allen 7/25/2019 2:29 PMI take a collapsible container with me at all times. Lots of discussion when I put in my leftovers! -
Susan Allen 7/16/2019 12:17 PMAfter at least two years of talking to the GM about plastic and sustainability, I'm glad to say that they have made the move to "eco" products for snacks and will soon have them for water!! The golf ladies are slowly moving to "permanent" water glasses, but the men....nope.-

REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodHow has using your own containers impacted the quality of the food you receive? Does this give you more awareness of where your food comes from as opposed to just grabbing a package of mystery origin cheese/meat?
Susan Allen 7/06/2019 5:46 AMBecause it's convenient, I now buy very small amounts of deli items. No waste!
Tayst pods for the Keurig.....approved for composting at the zoo. 😄 packaging, too!!-

REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodWith the added mindfulness of reducing your packaging, what have you noticed about the amount and type of single use plastics used for packaging when you shop in the grocery store?
Susan Allen 7/06/2019 5:41 AMI gave my Boston hostess mesh bags for her fruits and vegetables. They pay for plastic here!! -
Susan Allen 7/01/2019 8:09 AMMy collapsable food container goes where I go. 3 1/2 x 5 x 1/2. Tucks into my purse. At first, people look.....then they have that light bulb moment! -
Susan Allen 7/01/2019 8:06 AMLast night, three friends said no to straws....baby steps!
