Emily May 7/25/2019 4:52 PMI went to the dentist yesterday, and they always give me a little plastic baggie with a plastic toothbrush, toothpaste and floss. Literally all plastic. I fully intended to decline the goodie bag, but somehow I still found myself walking out of the office with the goodie bag in hand! A complete failure!-
Barbara Revard 7/30/2019 6:25 AMMy dentist has switched to paper bags but still the usual toothbrush, floss and toothpaste. I plan to refuse it all on my next checkup but there's some allure to "free" stuff that I find hard to refuse.

Emily May 7/21/2019 1:38 PMI got my order from A Drop in the Ocean yesterday! Thanks to Krystina for the discount code! Now with the beet root powder, I have made a blush and plan on using the coco butter and beet root powder to make a lip balm. And you better believe I'm going to give my dog a bath tomorrow, whether he's ready or not!

Emily May 7/17/2019 12:40 PMI just ran out of my favorite dry shampoo and decided to try making my own! It's ridiculously easy:
-1/4 cup arrowroot or corn starch
-1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder (if you have dark hair)
-5-10 drops of your favorite essential oil if you want a fragrance.
And that's it! You can apply with a shaker top if you have one, or just brush it on with an old makeup brush. So far, no complaints.-

Emily May 7/08/2019 9:55 AMI'm struggling to find vitamins in glass jars. Everything I've found is in normal plastic bottles, which is recyclable, but still plastic. Does anyone buy vitamins in glass jars and if so where do you get them from??-
joy kotheimer 7/09/2019 7:33 AMI would love to know a good solution for this too. I end up repurposing the containers or recycling, like you said.

Emily May 7/06/2019 1:41 PMI made the switch to a safety razor from Albatross, and I'll be honest, it's been an adjustment! But after a bit of practice, I feel like I'm able to shave my legs without any major murder scenes in my bathtub. Not only are the razor blades recyclable, but my legs are SO smooth!-
joy kotheimer 7/09/2019 7:36 AMthe struggle is real! I’m starting on this challenge too so look out... 😂
