    My dog helps my life be more pleasurable by keeping me company with a presence that only a dog could have, making sure that I am almost never bored  (for better or for worse) and he gives me a good reason to not leave stuff laying around.

    it lasts longer, and the economic benefit is that it is safer to make and easier to make, a personal benefit is that it is easier to use.
