I was shopping in Kingston today and the plastic bag ban is in effect there now. I was asked if I’d like to pay 5cents for paper bags. I had my canvas ones. It felt like the future had arrived!

Food Cook a Zero-Plastic Waste Meal
Do an inventory of your kitchen to see how many single-use plastics you've used in the past. What are some resuable alternatives to these commonly used products? What would your impact be if you switched all the single-use products from your inventory to reusable?

The kids are proud to not need to go to the garbage cans at camp after eating their lunches. They even save the strawberry tops or cherry pits in the tupperware so they can compost them when they get home?
