Jake Rose 7/17/2019 9:38 PMTrying to convince some of the older folks in my life is a bit harder then I anticipated. Additionally trying to convince some of the younger folks has been met with some interesting challenges. I feel the convenience of a bottle they don't have to carry once it's empty is a plus. But when I point out that all those bottles take up space in recycling bins and waste they don't seem to care. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodDo an inventory of your kitchen to see how many single-use plastics you've used in the past. What are some resuable alternatives to these commonly used products? What would your impact be if you switched all the single-use products from your inventory to reusable?
Adrienne Mrsny 7/07/2019 12:39 PMThis is incredibly hard to do when you are visiting people or spending time at their houses. I use it as an opportunity to talk with my friends and family. However, it is hard to explain it to my 93-year-old grandmother that I am passing on every bit of snack food she is offering me because it comes in plastic packaging. -

Adrienne Mrsny 7/07/2019 12:36 PMI know that I am doing something that is helping all of the animals. Humans as a whole just keep trashing the place. If anything it just makes me sadder, that more people don't think and use a trash can. -
