    We just got back from vacation.  Even with bringing a reusable water bottle, it was very difficult to sustain the plastic-free lifestyle while traveling, especially with eating out!

    We just bought a set of silicone reusable straws - even better than paper!

      Hi Fern!!!!  Yup, the silicone straws have more of that plastic-like flexible feel (vs the rigid metal or bamboo reusable straws).  They hold up better than the paper (paper's not the greatest either because it is single use disposable).  Good for you for finding a reusable straw solution for your family!
