REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunity Estimate Your Plastic Consumption and Go #PlasticNeutralWhat did you find out about your plastic consumption by using the calculator? What did or didn't surprise you?
Mary Dru Bowman 7/11/2019 9:14 AMI think that I use very little plastic however this calculator disagreed. I will have to work harder to reduce my plastic footprint. -
Mary Dru Bowman 7/10/2019 10:29 AMIf at first you don't succeed try, try again! I was finally able to break my husband's daily one use water bottle habit. He likes his new tumbler and we will save lots of $$. Win-Win.-
Beth Beek Blackford 7/11/2019 11:56 AMThat is HUGE!!! Congratulations Mary.
I'm trying to get my husband to carry his water in something other than those bottles, simply because of the image.

Mary Dru Bowman 7/03/2019 10:28 AMThis is a great way to keep my mind on the prize - clean and healthy planet! Finding that I'm taking a new look at everyday activities with a constant eye for ways of lessening my footprint. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONLifestyle Travel EatingWas this action easy or difficult to do? How did it change your travel experience?
Mary Dru Bowman 7/03/2019 10:14 AMI tried this last month and will do it again in 2 weeks. I put crackers in a silicone, reusable bag and it really came in handy on a crowded flight after layover that was too short to get a bite to eat. Also, carried my own water bottle that I was able to easily refill for free. No plastic and no $$ - win-win!-
Barbara Peterson 7/04/2019 3:39 AMExcellent! I just purchased a set of silicon bags. The closure is a bit difficult but not impossible. My biggest problem is breaking old habits.

Mary Dru Bowman 6/25/2019 9:33 AMThis action also saves me time and stress when I'm preparing for a trip. I keep them together and filled and ready to go at a minutes notice.-
