I don’t have a recipe but I love my crystal. It’s not 100% plastic free but it’s pretty close and lasts forever!!!

I had my birthday cookout last night and everyone kept asking for plastic or paper plates and utensils....  NOPE!   Used all reusable dishes yesterday!  No bottled water allowed too!

Off the grid for 4 days- hard to check in.  I went camping and for the most part was able to use reusable items but the biggest fail is that we had to buy gallon jugs of water because we couldn’t drink the water there.  Any advice on how to avoid this for 5 days straight???!!

Kristina speaks the truth!  Also you could buy a reusable large water holder so you’ll have one for all future camping trips!!!  We use one for Moose when we travel or bring him to softball games

At least you bought gallon jugs rather than small water bottles! Not a perfect solution, but a better one than the alternative!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Minimize Packaging
With the added mindfulness of reducing your packaging, what have you noticed about the amount and type of single use plastics used for packaging when you shop in the grocery store?

The worst is when things are double wrapped.  You think you made a wise choice picking something wrapped in paper or cardboard until you get home and realized the product is also wrapped in plastic on the inside.  Disappointing.g

Already started my day single use plastic free!
You can still use a keurig and not worry about the single use pods! I even compost my coffee grinds after!

YES!!  My husband bought a Nespresso too and you can send the metal pods back to the company to be recycled!!  So great!!
