This journey began for for me through my Docent work with our Zoo.  Ot has made me acutely aware of what can be recycled and my contribution has increased! It has also changed some of my purchas patterns.  Thank you.

Thanks to this eco challenge I have started two new good habits - no plastic bags and using paper bags for garbage. I found these challenges doable and I will continue.

This has been so educational and fun. I've talked about my mindfulness on the Ecochallenge to friends and family, hoping to plant seeds in them to think how they can make changes to support continued life for all that live on the planet. We're here for a reason and that is not to be destructive. I believe all of life, whether in the air, in the sea or on the soil has value. We must respond to the needs of Mother Nature. She is counting on all of the humans to work together and help her to survive. Let's Win Together!

One challenge I will continue each day is picking up trash on my walks in the neighborhood. Very easy to do!

OK, composting dog poo is a lot harder and there are many concerns about what is in their poo not good for composting. I think I will stick with getting a regular composter!

I have been picking up garbage and recycling for over 30 years. I bring my reusable bags when I shop for over 20 years. When I have plastic bags, I use them for my cat litter. I try and have taught my children to so the same.

My lunch box today was packed using all reusable products.  The only thing that will be thrown away is the small wrapper on the Laughing cow cheese.
