Although I had thought of different ways to reduce  my plastic use in the past, this challenge made me get creative involving my family and friends, too. It’s been fun and eye-opening!!

We made it to the end! Personally, I felt more connected with the program this year, and managed to check off challenges every day but one. Next year, I'll try to choose harder/higher value challenges to make a bigger difference.

I’m still on the lookout for food purchasing alternatives with less plastic such as farmers markets, bulk bin items & less packaging awareness such as eggs, protein & snacks.
