Human activity is causing environmental degradation, which is the deterioration of the environment through depletion of resources such as air, water, soil, the destruction of ecosystems and habitats, the extinction of wildlife and pollution. What concerns me the most is how easily this is forgotten. Major environmental issues like climate change, pollution and resource depletion are swept under our every day rugs. 

WOW! I was completely surprised last night when we started to check the items in our home that contain polystyrene and polyvinyl not to mention all the items we were going to pick up at the store. We decided last night this was also getting added to our list of efforts.
