July 31 at 1:24 PMI chose to watch "A Plastic Wave". Like other documentaries, it focused on single-use plastics and the impact on our environment. It was heartbreaking and eye-opening to see the effects on marine life. 30 million tons of plastic and counting reaching our world's oceans. The film and this challenge has definitely made me more...

July 29 at 9:16 PMFor those of you who are tea lovers I recently discovered a company called Arbor Teas. They sell fair trade, loose leaf tea and they have so many flavors. One thing I have started doing, is reusing plastic whenever I can. It doesn't eliminate it completely, but it does give it a second life than just to a landfill or being recycled into plastic bags. I generally buy products in...

July 16 at 4:39 AMI have reduced my waste by half, take re-usable bags to the grocery store, and bought re-usable shopping bags as gifts for several friends.
