REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Use Reusables at WorkIt is often true that we only have control over our own actions and not the collective community. How can you lead by example when it comes to switching disposables for reusable dishes in your community?
Kayla St. George 7/31/2019 6:53 PMIt's always good to lead by example when trying to be an advocate. Any social event seems to warrant the need of disposables. During these times, I try my best to bring along my reusables. -
Kayla St. George 7/31/2019 6:51 PMThe jean shorts that I bought recently are made with recycled bottles! (REPREVE) -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Use Reusable UtensilsHow can you be an advocate for using resusables instead of disposables for the rest of your community? Where are they currently dependent on disposable cutlery, and how can you convince them of the need for change?
Kayla St. George 7/30/2019 6:27 PMIt's always good to lead by example when trying to be an advocate. Any social event seems to warrant the need of disposables. During these times, I try my best to bring along my reusables. -
Kayla St. George 7/30/2019 6:20 PMWent to Block Island for the first time today and saw a lot of awareness about single use plastics! The restaurant we dined at used paper straws too!-
Andrea Lewicki 7/31/2019 11:55 AMI also went to a restaurant on Monday, and had water with straws brought to the table before the server even introduced herself. I was initially disappointed to see straws in our water glasses, but turned my frown upside down when I realized they were paper.

REFLECTION QUESTIONFamily Discover TogetherWhat concerns you the most about how we are affecting the planet? Consider both local and global actions.
Kayla St. George 7/29/2019 8:37 PMWhat's concerning most about how we affect the planet really is the realization that most of the general population doesn't seem to notice or care about our impact unless it's inconvenient for them. -
Kayla St. George 7/29/2019 8:34 PMBritni brought all of her snacks in plastic free July swag when we went to see The Lion King this evening! #TeamKodiecki -

REFLECTION QUESTIONPets Invest in a Pooper-ScooperHow are caring for your pet and caring for the environment connected for you?
Kayla St. George 7/26/2019 7:35 PMEverything is connected to the environment and has its own line of impact. -
