Ann Smith 7/17/2019 1:29 PMI have caught myself a few times doing what was easy instead of what’s best. Like I almost bought prepackaged sliced mushrooms in plastic packaging, but remembered to buy bulk using my reusable produce net bags. It helps to have goals!-

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Use Reusable ContainersHow can you think outside the box (or bag!) when it comes to disposables?
Ann Smith 7/10/2019 7:04 AMI purchased silicon zip lock bags and bees wax wraps to wrap food in. These are amazing alternatives. I found them on social media and share them often so my friends are aware of the choices out there -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Use Reusable UtensilsHow can you be an advocate for using resusables instead of disposables for the rest of your community? Where are they currently dependent on disposable cutlery, and how can you convince them of the need for change?
Ann Smith 7/10/2019 7:00 AMI have a bunch of biodegradable plastic cutlery from a few years back. I’m going through it all very slowly. I wash them and reuse them until they start to self destruct then add them to my compost
