REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunity Join a Cleanup EffortHow does working with others to clean up your community make you feel?
Tina Slosarik 7/23/2019 6:03 AMIt feels great knowing that we are working towards a common goal of keeping our community, green spaces and waterways clean. For this challenge, my 7 year old and I participated in a community waterway cleanup. I feel as though teaching her to make that responsible effort is most important for our future.-
Sandi Phillips 7/26/2019 6:28 AMThat's so wonderful, Tina!

REFLECTION QUESTIONFamily Plastic Free Lunch BoxesMost of us know that the "3 R's" are reduce, reuse, recycle. Recycling is most heavily emphasized in modern Western culture. How could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle? How does considering implementing these "R's" make you feel?
Tina Slosarik 7/14/2019 5:52 AMThe "Refuse" has been the hardest to get used to! My family has been carrying our metal straws, and reusable totes. I need to remember to bring containers for leftovers.-
Sandi Phillips 7/15/2019 11:45 AMBringing containers is definitely a habit that I have to get into, too. Some days I am really good about it! Another is bringing my own reusable silverware to any cookouts this summer!
