It is often true that we only have control over our own actions and not the collective community. How can you lead by example when it comes to switching disposables for reusable dishes in your community?

The nice thing about this workplace is that they have made an impact on me. I HATE doing dishes and would opt for disposables so I didn't have to do them. It is harder to justify that when no one else around you does that.

How can you think outside the box (or bag!) when it comes to disposables?

I signed up for a sustainable living subscription box which has given me sustainable ways to store food. I now have silicone ziplock bags and easily cleaned fabric sandwich bags and beeswax wraps to store things like cheese and cream cheese bricks instead of having to use things that will just be thrown away after one use. They are things I've wanted to try but haven't bought on my own and it has been fun at my house to try to find ways to use them. Even my husband has been trying to make sure he uses these items first.
