I had a hard time keeping up with this challenge with all the vacation and traveling I did in July. I guess that's good to know and I can do some things to plan ahead better next summer.

For this EcoChallenge, I signed up to not accept plastic bags when shopping and also to only buy what I need. They are both daily challenges. So, since I didn't buy anything yesterday, I also did not accept a plastic bag, right? I wasn't sure if I should check that challenge as complete since I didn't actively refuse a plastic bag. Thoughts?

  Katie, I have similar challenges. I decided to only check the challenge as completed on the days I actually go shopping. Also, when I checked that I "did not accept disposable bags" the response is "Up to 1 plastic container not sent to the landfill" so call it as you see fit.
