Maeghan Fasciola 7/31/2019 9:43 AMThis challenge has literally changed my life. I think about plastic in a different way.
Before, I used to just step over trash in the park; now I feel a deep need to pick it up. I even bring my own grabber and bucket for when I walk the dog.
I look at every product and make sure that I am buying things wrapped in as little plastic as possible.
These are just a couple of the many, many ways this challenge has changed my perception. about the world around me.
I am so grateful to have done this challenge and can't wait for the next one! -

Maeghan Fasciola 7/13/2019 10:40 AMI love to dye my hair, but I do not like the damage it does to my hair and the plastic upon plastic upon plastic that comes as packaging. While I do buy dye like Manic Panic and Lime Crime's Unicorn line because I can reuse the round plastic jars they come in for my husband's beard oil, they are still plastic. In my desperate search for a more sustainably packaged hair dye (my hair is pink now, not red as it should be), I came across this great article. It is not exactly what I was looking for, but it opened my eyes to some really great, eco-friendly beauty products. https://www.refinery29.com/en-us/2018/01/187311/beauty-brands-sustainable-packaging-
