REFLECTION QUESTIONLifestyleWhat did you learn by making your own cleaning products? What is the biggest difference in making vs buying?
Candice Carano 7/02/2019 7:18 AMIt's nice to have natural cleaners, especially because I have a small child at home that makes a lot of messes, but I don't want to expose her to strong cleaners-especially because she puts everything in her mouth. Cleaning products are cheaper when made at home, and you know exactly what is in them, but they're not always quite as effective. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONLifestyleWhich documentary did you choose to watch? What did you learn?
Candice Carano 7/02/2019 7:10 AMI watched Straws. I learned that while individual consumers reducing their usage is important, restaurant owners can save money and keep plastic out of the landfills/oceans by not offering straws in drinks unless someone asks for it. It's become such a common thing for a straw to be in your drink at restaurants, that I never even thought about it before these plastic-free July eco-challenges.
