I bought a new portable blender and it's been a great way to keep my plastic use down. All I need is fruit and ice to make a great snack or breakfast. I've been using my reusable straw too!

It was interesting to see the trash that I created this week. It wasn't as bad as I was expecting. I was surprised by the huge amount of paper towels that I use each day. I'm working on using cloth towels for more things. I'm thinking of collecting rags to use as replacements at least some of those paper towels.

I remembered my reusable bags for buying produce at the grocery store!

I'm about to start my waste audit! I'm a little nervous, but excited to see where I can reduce the amount of stuff I throw away.

It's been a great way to eat a little healthier and be better for the environment. I've been stocking up on fruits and trying to avoid buying ones in plastic packaging. Apples and banana are always great because they don't come in plastic containers.

It's been really fun making my plastic free meals each day. I've been working on buying things with less plastic and finding alternatives in my home. When I cut avocados, I used to put plastic wrap over the unused half to save for later. Now, I'm trying things like beeswax wrap to reduce my single use plastics.

    Lifestyle Natural Fibers
What are the benefits (to people, animals, and the environment) of purchasing clothes made with natural fibers?

It's really great to reduce the amount of plastic that we buy and use. When we purchase natural fibers, it helps decrease the amount of plastic in the ocean. A lot of plastic pollution is from microfibers that come off of synthetic clothing. Buying natural clothing is better for the environment and reduces ocean pollution.
