    Made myself an extra poop scooper by cutting an old bleach  bottle on and angel, saving the handle.

    The staff/volunteers of Heritage Park are doing our annual BBQ at Glenmore Park... I am organizing a trash pick-up and bring own plate cutlery ... wish me luck!!!!

    Grandchildren visiting and the plastic use was unreal!!!  One solution ... Costco sells Riviera yogurt in little glass pots, so wash and fill with other yogurt and stewed rhubarb or other low sugar fruit!!!  Bingo, less plastic recycling!!!

    My favourite treat, an ice cream sandwich, come wrapped in plastic .... so I now make my own!  2 cookies, any type  seems to work, and fill with a scoop of ice cream .... mmmmmm!

    I have learned how to make beeswax cotton material wrap, so have eliminated my need for plastic wrap!  Lots of good how to videos on line!!
