I had no idea how involved and what a time suck this would be. Nevertheless, anything that will enlighten me to plastic alternatives I will give a try. I was offended when I went to the plastic neutral link and saw I was going to be instantly charged a subscription fee if I had clicked on the accept button. Majorly tacky. I am already doing quite a few things that are suggested, and though I am not a vegan I eat very little meat, usually some chopped turkey which I add to burritos, pasta, ect. For me to go a month without meat is not unusual.

What have you noticed about the economic and social impact of switching to steel razors? Was there ever really a need for disposable razors, or do you think it was just a way to sell more things?

I use a steel razor but it still has the little blade replacement housing. I need to buy a straight razor—I've also asked for my grandfathers straight razor.
