Several months ago Lucky's Market stopped ordering and supplying plastic straws to their employees and consumers.  As a result, the stores have kept numerous plastic straws out of the landfill.  There has been minimal complaints from the employees or consumers.  One problem is that the paper straws we offer absorb liquids quickly, so if you are a slow drinker, they can get soggy and absorb the liquid.
