REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Minimize PackagingWith the added mindfulness of reducing your packaging, what have you noticed about the amount and type of single use plastics used for packaging when you shop in the grocery store?
Lois Pak 7/11/2019 6:27 AMPlastic packaging is everywhere! It is important for me to be mindful when going to the grocery store to choose items that contain no/little plastic packaging. Most of the packaging is rather unnecessary and can be easily avoided. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Use Reusable UtensilsHow can you be an advocate for using resusables instead of disposables for the rest of your community? Where are they currently dependent on disposable cutlery, and how can you convince them of the need for change?
Lois Pak 7/02/2019 9:39 AMI can inform others of the positive impact when choosing to use reusable utensils. We are dependent on using disposable cutlery due to convenience, yet just by remembering to pack a spoon/fork/knife beforehand can save the thousands of pounds of plastic being disposed into the landfill.
