Instead of floating and becoming lodged in an animals digestive system it will sink to the bottom of the ocean and provide a habitat for small crustaceans.
Bamboo toothbrushes are an interesting twist like banning synthetic fiber clothing. Wick dry clothing lasts much longer takes less than half as much energy to dry. Where does the bamboo come from? Does anyone do a life cycle analysis to consider greenhouse gas implications? So many questions and so much plastic.
I had tremendous success in this area over the last few days and will dry out for a few days including a two day stint at a Boy Scout camp to help pack up and drive Scouts home.
