I bought my family all reusable straws and they love them! We all used them when we went out to eat this week.

I went grocery shopping yesterday & didn't use any plastic bags! I had some reusable bags & milk crates in my trunk.

I have been bringing my reusable straw when I go out. When I deny a plastic straw and they see me grab my reusable one it always sparks a conversation! May have talked a waitress or two into skipping out on the plastic straws & using a reusable instead!

How does the act of picking up litter connect you more to your community?

My brother currently works for the borough of Bellevue.  He told me how much trash he picks on at work everyday. When he told me about it, it really bothered me because our town has trash cans all throughout the streets.

Once a day, usually in the evening, my brother & I will go for a walk and collect litter from the streets and recycle what we can. Our neighbors have noticed us doing this every day and a few of them told me they started to do it too. It made us feel proud knowing that our community had noticed us and wanted to join.

Buying used always makes me feel good about my purchases.  I recently just bought new cat food & water bowls.

I got one of the Final Straws about a month ago and I use it almost everyday! I got a lot of my family & friends into it as well. #SaveTheTurtles
