Finally picked up Bentonite Clay to make my own toothpaste! Excited to try it out.

Also, was asking my dentist about the formula I was planning to use for my toothpaste, and she said she didn't know much about Bentonite Clay. I told her I wanted to make my own in order to reduce my plastic waste. She said she was going to research natural toothpaste recipes in case other patients asked her - so hopefully we can spread some awareness about the possibility of making your own to reduce plastic waste!

How does the act of picking up litter connect you more to your community?

I think the more you invest in something, the more you naturally just start to care about it. I really love the area I live but I think when I do small acts to help try to keep it healthy and clean that it makes me feel more protective of it when I hear about potential negative environmental actions or policies.
