REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Minimize PackagingWith the added mindfulness of reducing your packaging, what have you noticed about the amount and type of single use plastics used for packaging when you shop in the grocery store?
Marissa Hartley 7/12/2019 10:38 AMI've noticed that so much produce is unnecessarily packaged in plastic like lettuce, carrots, and peppers??? I tried shopping at trader joe's and was surprised at how many of their products are wrapped in plastic. Luckily my local safeway has started providing some plastic free options and even better, local produce as well. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Plant a GardenBesides having access to fresh herbs and vegetables, what benefits will you see from growing your own garden?
Marissa Hartley 7/08/2019 10:17 AMworking with animals, having access to fresh herbs will provide natural enrichment for them to smell or use in their bedding -
