Participating in this challenge has really helped keep me on track with better habits when it comes to shopping and eating out.  I found that it was easier for me to remember keeping reusable bags handy when going grocery shopping.  I paid more attention to the packaging when picking out items.  Now, it's second nature for me to skip on the straw.

I've been living by the wise words of our Sustainability director, Nadereh "At Earth Friendly Products we go above and beyond the "3 Rs" in our quest to protect the earth; we add a 4th "R" in all of our sustainability initiatives: “Rethink.” .  Since, she shared this any time I'm home planning the meals for the family my goal is to cook enough to where little to nothing goes into composting.  I use the same logic for shopping when it comes to clothes and other items.  I actually feel guilty when I operate outside of this frame of mind.  This has certainly helped me in my quest to live a more sustainable life outside of work.
