seth francis 7/31/2019 9:22 AMThis has been a truly life-changing challenge, I will never look at the world in the same way again! I have a long way to go to be truly plastic free, but I am going to get there, now I know it is possible. -

-

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Use Reusable UtensilsHow can you be an advocate for using resusables instead of disposables for the rest of your community? Where are they currently dependent on disposable cutlery, and how can you convince them of the need for change?
seth francis 7/08/2019 1:32 PMreally like the bamboo utensils, especially the bamboo straw, but my habit of throwing things in the trash caused me to throw my bamboo straw in the trash! Bad habits are hard to break! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONPersonal Care Pearly WhitesCurrently most of the packaging for toothpaste is plastic. How can you advocate for more alternatives through your purchasing power and influence in community?
seth francis 7/08/2019 9:13 AMcoconut and baking soda with a little mint flavor. Doesn't taste great honestly but I'm getting used to it. Might need a little natural sweetener.... -
seth francis 7/01/2019 2:00 PMWent to the grocery store yesterday with the goal of not buying any plastic and was extremely overwhelmed. Almost every single item in the grocery store has plastic., even the produce with stickers and ties! I even bought my growler instead of buying cans and they used a plastic sticker to seal it up! This was the most eye opening moment so far!-
Charles White 7/01/2019 3:39 PMThanks for sharing, Seth! Once you start seeing it, it becomes hard to NOT see.
