I did it! I bought a mesh produce bag with me to the grocery store. The trick is definitely to have many of them stashed in the car or my backpack to use at anytime.

It is so hard to remember a bag for produce! This is where I struggle. I don't know if I should buy mesh ones or reuse old produce bags. For today because I used a plastic bag for produce, I'm going to try to reuse that same bag on my next trip to the grocery store.

At the Denver Botanic Gardens, I stopped for a lemonade and was going to skip the straw until I saw it was a plant based straw that is compostable. I was pleasantly surprised!

Skipped the plastic lid on my coffee today!

Proud of myself for using my reusable grocery bags. I often just forget them in the car. I'm trying to remember and add it to my shopping list. I didn't have anything to put my produce in besides the plastic bags provided at the store. Instead, I went bag-less with my jalapenos!

Today I contacted AIA Minnesota to ask why their magazine is wrapped in plastic. If the plastic is unavoidable, can we opt-in to an online version of the magazine?
