Hi. Looking for toothpaste that isn't packaged in plastic. Found this list, https://www.sustainablejungle.com/best-of-sustainable-beauty/zero-waste-toothpaste/. Does anyone have experience -- positive or negative -- with any of these or others?

This isn't strictly speaking a plastics free issue, but  . . . if you have a home garden and are going on vacation, don't let the food go to waste. Volunteers will harvest your produce and deliver it to local food pantries. Email GleanTeamInitiative@gmail.com.

Researching yogurt makers. That will eliminate a lot of plastic purchases for our house. Anyone have recommendations?

You can use a regular crockpot, but I have had excellent results with my Insta-Pot that has a yogurt setting.  Just pop in the starter (yogurt with live bacteria), 2% or higher fat milk, and leave it overnight.  I've found 9 1/2 hours makes it less tangy.  Since I prefer it thicker, I'll put it in the fridge for the day to set, then strain overnight to make it Greek style.  I haven't had to purchase yogurt since I started doing this last Plastic Free July.  :-)  Just remember to always save a bit of your latest batch to use as starter.  Good luck!
