REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Buy Unpackaged ProduceWhy do you think these produce products started amassing so much plastic packaging? Who is the plastic packaging really serving -- the consumer, the producer, or someone else?
Susan Dawson 7/31/2019 3:38 PMI plan to do this. We have plenty of cloth bags. There's probably several reasons - the idea (true or not) that packaged produce would be cleaner/contamination-free, possibly for shipping and less bruising of fruit/vegetables, easy to grab. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Use a Reusable Mug / Collapsible CupGreat job on getting rid of your disposable cup habit! How does it make you feel? What's next on your list to reduce your waste?
Susan Dawson 7/24/2019 4:09 PMPlanning to keep our own utensils in the car for when we get take out. Might consider adding metal or bamboo straws, too. Maybe cloth napkins would be a good thing as well. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONLifestyle Homemade CleanersWhat did you learn by making your own cleaning products? What is the biggest difference in making vs buying?
Susan Dawson 7/24/2019 2:53 PMI enjoyed the hands-on experience and will make the scrub again! It worked really well in my tub and it was easy and smelled great! Plus, no headache afterwards like I've gotten when using Scrubbing Bubbles and other commercial chemical products. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONPersonal Care Pearly WhitesCurrently most of the packaging for toothpaste is plastic. How can you advocate for more alternatives through your purchasing power and influence in community?
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Make Your OwnHow do you feel about being more involved in the food preparation process? Joyful, overwhelmed, engaged, empowered? What are the benefits of choosing to process or produce your own food instead of buying it pre-processed?
Susan Dawson 7/12/2019 8:19 AMIt's fun and empowering and I like the freshness and knowing what ingredients are in it. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONLifestyle Natural FibersWhat are the benefits (to people, animals, and the environment) of purchasing clothes made with natural fibers?
Susan Dawson 7/08/2019 2:00 PMNo microfiber plastics getting into our water supplies and oceans and fish and us! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONPets Rubber Glove Pet Hair RemovalWe know you want to - tell us about why your pet is so awesome!
