    This challenge was actually easier than I expected.  I am pleasantly surprised that my initial goals have turned into something of habits at this point.  I plan to keep working on those and try to do even more to make a difference.

    Food Minimize Packaging
    With the added mindfulness of reducing your packaging, what have you noticed about the amount and type of single use plastics used for packaging when you shop in the grocery store?

    With this challenge in the back of my mind, I paid much more attention when I shopped at the grocery store last night.  I expected to see a lot of plastic in the processed food sections, but I have to admit I was surprised just how much is used in the fresh food sections.  (Yes - it's sad I really hadn't noticed in the past!)  Seeing the excess was enough to convince me I really need to use local farmers' markets as my primary food sources.
