I will use my own containers when ordering takeout.

I will watch a documentary film about waste with family and friends and talk about what we learned.

I will make my own cleaning products at home.

I will try new recipe(s) or food preparation method(s) each day, such as canning, pickling, making yogurt, or baking granola bars or bread.

I will purchase produce items without plastic packaging.

I will replace my disposable razors with steel razors. Why not try using hair conditioner instead of shaving foam for that baby smooth feel?

I will host or participate in a beach, highway, river, or other cleanup effort in my community.

I have a lot of birthdays and special events coming up in July, and they'll all require a gift. I want to challenge myself and my friends to minimize single-use plastic used in the gifts or its presentation, and show that a thoughtful gesture doesn't have to be wasteful!
