    It was very fun tracking everything I was doing to make this world a cleaner place!

    At the beginning of July, the water fountain on floor 2 of building 3 showed 14,702 bottles of water diverted from a landfill due to water refills.  Today that number reads 15,938!  That's 1,236 bottles diverted from 1 fountain in 1 month!

    I don't think we should use disposable razors, best is to use reusable ones that made from friendly-environment materials

    Anybody want to start a campaign to give re-fillable water bottles to our hard-working, thirsty drivers? We could work together with CHSP committees for local support - hydration! Might call it something like, "Filler-UPS" :-)

    Challenge is going great!. I have made changes in other areas. I hand wash dishes instead of using the dish washer on a daily basis. I use dryer balls instead of dryer sheets now. I am looking for new ways to avoid plastic every day!

    I just discovered an ideal way to reduce plastic use, glass. Many items that you can purchase come in both plastic and glass bottles. For example, you could purchase a product like jelly in a glass container instead of plastic squeeze bottle. Another alternative is paper. For example you could chose a powder laundry detergent packaged in a box...

    I rewash & reuse plastic containers and cutlery. If I switched to using entirely to reusable products, I would definitely be making a bigger impact but I do choose to continuously reuse items commonly considered single-use (i.e. plastic bags).
