    yes, I have noticed that more waitresses at restaurants are asking if I want a straw instead of just giving me one.

    This is something I've been slowly working to improve. Often the most difficult challenge for me is I forget my reusable bags in the trunk of my car when I walk in the store. Purchasing smaller items and being able to carry them out helps to turn things down. For larger trips, I try to write a reminder to grab my reusable bags.
