Woohoo we're almost done with the plastic-free challenge! I've definitely been more conscious of my plastic use, like making sure I don't use ziploc bags and plastic wrap or reusing purchased plastic containers as tupperware or mini plant greenhouses! I switched to bar soap recently because Nick mentioned it, and I didn't realize how unsustainable it was to keep buying these plastic bottles. I've recently been loving silicon Stasher bags, which are essentially reusable sandwich bags. I also always try to pack my lunch in a reusable Tupperware container, but it can definitely be challenging when eating out. I think being as mindful as possible and remembering that there is no "away" when you throw something away helps me...

I have found social media to be an effective way to meet new people and interact with other sustainability professionals and is an amazing way to raise awareness.
