I can write the customer service departments of major retailers. 

I would remind them that plastics are not good for our health and have been appearing in garbage patches in the ocean and in our wildlife. We need to break the bad habit and it might as well begin with us.

Picking up litter stops the message that it is ok to dump trash anywhere. 

I am here for the trees!  I am also happy to see that many things I already do are listed, and happy to see what more I can do.
