    It only takes simple changes to make a big difference to the would around you. Things I now do - bring a fork/spoon with me from home to eat my lunch vs grabbing a plastic one out of the drawer, take a refillable water bottle with me to the gym, use reusable containers vs zip lock bags for storage.

    Even large corporations are getting the message about using refillable bottle options. InterContinental Group is eliminating the travel-sized tubes of shampoo, conditioner and bath gel from its 843,000 rooms across its global chain of hotels.     So good to see that wanting to reduce plastic use is a world wide effort.  An example - Marks & Spencer (stores in the UK) are now offering a discount to customers that bring their own lunch boxes to purchase prepared 'food to go'.

    Plastic is everywhere in our daily lives and the need to reduce it is immediate to our future environment, especially the oceans.  I'm now more aware of my daily use and how I can change that use with new habits made over the past 31 days.

    This should have said 1hour. Unconsumed dog food and scraps can be blended in with garden compost.

    This was my second year participating in the plastic free challenge, we are gaining momentum. It has been very nice to see all of the team work and effort, let’s continue Reducing plastic and recycling at home and here at our zoo.
