During this month, I have been more aware of the amount of pre-packaged food items grocery stores use. I have and will continue to avoid purchasing those items. I hope the stores pay attention. 

I hate throwing away dog poop bags. Poop belongs in the toilet! Now, if I could just train my dog...

To be able to reduce your waste you need to LOOK at it.  Observe what you use and ask yourself "Do I need this?"  If the answer is yes, then take a step further to determine what about that item creates the least impact on our world.  Is the packaging wasteful or conscientious?

I am saddened by the vast amount of plastic containers for storing berries in the grocery store. As a result, I've stopped purchasing them. Have to wait until fresh is in stock. Better yet, I'll pick my own!

Just came back from vacation. I DID refill old travel sized containers. Easy to do!

I will purchase reusable produce bags. Hate having a ton of plastic bags; trying to figure out what to do with them. Landfill? No!

 If you want to use plastic, don't throw it away; take it home and wash it and use it again. 

fresh lettuce prevented me from purchasing new lettuce. Less food waste.

I think one place is trying to get places that do quick meals to use reusable instead of disposable cutlery.

One thing that can be helpful is seeing if there is another way to use them aside from their one time use.
