    Last week of the challenge! I've gotten better at remembering my reusable bags. There is now a mountain of them in the car. :D

    How do you feel about this challenge? Even if I'm eco-friendly since ever I became even more responsible about my plastic utilisation this month. Hopefully I'll keep this way and also will influence my network. Here you'll find an old picture, when I worked as a volunteer during the clean up of the mess left behind by vessel Prestige, a single-hull oil tanker, in the coast of Finisterre in Spain in 2002.

    I have become a more mindful shopper, looking for ways to reduce waste when grocery shopping.  Some of initiatives I have started is seeking products that are not packaged in plastics such as dishwasher cubes with dissolvable covers packaged in cardboard, switching from liquid laundry detergent in a plastic bottle to powder detergent in a cardboard box, and not using individual bags for fresh produce.  Small steps, but sustainable ones...
