I've switched most of my personal products to items with glass packaging and bought ecoTools brand make-up brushes, which are made from bamboo and recycled material.

Anita Fete Crews 7/15/2019 8:45 AMWe obtained metal straws for the household, and I've been using beeswax and reusable container sealers instead of plastic wrap. We also used reusable water bottles during our summer vacation, and my daughter got a new water bottle that she's taking to her grandparents for the next 3 weeks! -

It is a great way to promote our research and messaging, while also reaching people who may not otherwise pay attention to this issue. -

Anita Fete Crews 7/08/2019 7:52 AMBy picking up litter, I prioritize beautifying and cleaning my community over the rush or getting somewhere or banal activities. It's a way to prioritize something that has a meaningful impact on my immediate surroundings and to remain present in the moment of a day by saying "yes" to a small action here and now.
