We purchased a bunch of glass food storage containers that have snap shut lids. We make a big meal and then portion it out and put it in the fridge. So we still have convenience foods for our busy lives, but can wash and reuse the containers.

I notice it the most when shopping for food for lunch. All those quick, convenient lunches have so much plastic!

We buy our produce in bulk, and I didn't realize how much extra plastic we were purchasing by doing so!

I'll admit - I find this challenge a lot harder than the generic eco-challenge. I thought I did a pretty good job avoiding single use plastics, but looking at the health/ beauty and pets challenges was eye-opening that I still have a lot of room for improvement.
