    I use a metal mug everyday so no plastic goes to the land fill

    Haven't been able to check in recently.  Camping and had no cell service.  Tried to keep up with my challenges and kept my site and those nearby free of MOOP(matter out of place).

    My plastic consumption is way higher than I expected.  While I recycle much of that, I still need to find ways to decrease my plastic purchases, particularly product packaging.

    I use a lot of glass baby food jars and zip lock baggies.  I am able to recycle all of those (including the ziplocks) through my community services and do so always.  I used to use a lot of plastic produce bags from the grocery store, but purchased organic cotton produce bags and now use those instead.  I have a tendency toward eating...

    using my reusable produce bags at the stores.  Noticing how many people do not and wondering when as a society we will begin to make this more of a universal change. Still amazed at the number of people who do NOT bring their own bags for checkout.

    I am buying less processed foods for my own health and because of all the unnecessary packaging.   I have been using shopping totes for many years and this challenge helped me to buy cotton produce bags.  I was excited to use them today

    I love this challenge. Just received my metal foldable straw in the mail a few days ago. Have been advocating for no straws for awhile- such an easy change for individuals to make. Now we need to make these changes on a bigger scale!
