I'll be honest ... this is hard to do! So much plastic. But... we'really willing to do our part, one step at a time. 

Even though it is the last day, this has helped me form helpful and good habits. Thank you letting me participate 

The month is over but I’ll stick to my daily challenges and continue to be better without plastic. Plastic free forever. 

Final Day of the Plastic Free EcoChallenge!

It's hard to believe it's already the last day of July! All of you have done so well during this challenge, so I want to congratulate every single one of you for refusing single use plastics. Our actions are undoubtedly inspiring others to do the same. 

If you haven't already, don't forget to log your actions for today and high five your fellow teammates. I also want to hear from all of you! What was challenging for you during July? How was this experience for you?

I wanted to support our wonderful Columbus Zoo. I picked things I knew I could complete.

It's taken a little bit to get used to, but I can fully say I am loving my tubeless toothpaste! I look forward to trying different brands past the EcoChallenge to find my favorite. Only 1 day left!! 

This is our kitchen drawer that used to hold several boxes of ziploc plastic storage bags.  Yesterday these 6 new silicone lids arrived -- I ordered them for only $5.95.  They are our new tool to help us break our ziploc habit!
